This is fabulousness and eeriness at its peak, my friends. Check out this haunting clip of Liz Taylor in "The Driver's Seat" (1974) applying her smokey, seductive cateyes. I haven't seen the film but according to IMDB: "mentally disturbed spinster Lise experiences a series of bizarre encounters in Rome as she searches for someone to murder her."
Wow! First of all, her name in the film is Lise. Secondly, um, she's "searching for someone to murder her"? Third, it's Elizabeth Taylor. Fourth, see the above make-up tutorial. I am so intrigued.
"Was she really mad enough to plot her own murder?"
"Lise, a mentally unbalanced middle-aged woman travels toward a fatal destiny that she had helped to arrange, as if her own extinction will bring a meaningful existence to its wished-for end - a premeditated search for someone, anyone, with whom she could form a dangerous liaison." -From IMDB
