David Hamilton.

Thanks to Smashingbird who mentioned photographer David Hamilton in reference to this recent post on Deborah Turbeville's photography.   Although her style seems less youthful, less sexual and more unsettling, both photographers have a soft, blurred lens fixed on femininity.  Their subjects seem to always come in ghostly beautiful pairs or groups, and have a sense of camaraderie... with something bubbling below the surface-- in the case of Hamilton, it seems to be sex and curiosity, while in the case of Turbeville it seems to be tension, secrets, or some other dark current running beneath the relationships.
